Will the new Siri remote have the ability to learn IR codes for the Power button? The old black Siri remote can only learn IR codes for Volume

Will the new Siri remote have the ability to learn IR codes for the Power button? The old black Siri remote can only learn IR codes for Volume Up and Down.

Asking for non HDMI-CEC TVs and Receivers.

I know that it works automatically if your equipment has HDMI CEC.

Unknown, but with HDMI-CEC you can already turn on and off devices connected to the Apple TV at the same time as the Apple TV without the remote needing to lear the IR code, so it may not be designed to do that either and rely on CEC for that like the current remote does.
