Siri remote 2nd generation turn on the TV

I would like to use the infrared (IR) in the Siri Remote to turn on my TV. My TV is older and does not support CEC. I do not need to control volume. Just want the IR signal on the Siri Remote (2gen) to turn on and off my TV with my Apple TV. How do I configure the remote so it knows the IR code to turn my TV on and off?
