Tried running diagnostics for the first time today just to see if everything's running good but all 3 times I tried, it would freeze just a couple of seconds in and the only way I ended the test was by forcing shut down by holding down the power button. Waited a full half hour on my third try just to give it a fighting chance but still didn't budge. Software is updated to the latest version (Big Sur 11.4 20F71). This is a known issue with Big Sur 11.3.1 improperly updating the firmware (at least) on M1 MacBooks. It may very well be cause other issues as well (such as my Bluetooth issue) as I posted about in the following topic:

Word has it that it will be corrected in the next Big Sur update.
