When I try to add a new name to my Contacts list using my iMac, it has begun to refuse to accept the information. However, when I update Contacts using my iPhone the information appears correctly on my iMac also. Can anyone explain this and advise how I can enable Contacts on my iMac to function properly again?
Contacts - Preferences - Accounts - Click on Google (on the left pane) and un-check Enable this Account.
iMacs have been made for over 20 years and Mac OS has been available for about the same amount of time. Exactly what model year iMac do you own and which version of Mac OS is installed?
My iMac is late 2014 with MacOS Big Sur version 11.3.1 installed.
