I have a imac 27" mid 2011 , and I am sad to say it has the " GPU " problem, I don't want to get rid of my imac so i have decided to replace the GPU, please can you tell me what GPU cards are compatible

To answer your questions, please research the System Specifications for 2011 27" iMac and you will find the GPUs that will work. Finding one is another story though as Apple discontinued parts for those models years ago now.
Please note that these GPU are not available as new stock from Apple. That means you will be spending money on computer that has a value of less than $200 so it doesn't really make a lot of sense to hold onto it.
Have you considered replacing the computer with a newer model?
