IPad Pro color seems weird using sidecar

I find out that my iPad pro color is more saturated and a little bit red compare to my m1 MacBook pro, even though I have turned off True Tone and night shift.

even I tried to change the setting in MacBook Pro, it seems like the iPad will follow the changes.

Because I use iPad Pro as a tablet to draw, having different color showing is really bothering me. What can I do with this issue?

Hi Mameko2536,

Thank you for your follow up. How are you connecting your iPad? What happens if you try connecting it differently? Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar here.

We recommend you try to Start up your Mac in safe mode.

You might also want to create a new user and test as well. Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac here. Let us know what happens when you try these steps.

Good day!

Thanks for replying me!

I have already tried to adjust brightness and my iPad is always on light mode. I also tried to restart both of my devices.

I have found out that only when I am using sidecar, the color on my iPad will become weird.

I tried to take a look at the same picture on both devices when I am not using sidecar, It seems identical, having no difference in color. but when using sidecar, the difference is so obvious that I and others can found out.

I am thinking if this is because of sidecar, but not my devices problem.

Hi Mameko2536,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with your screen on your iPad. You mentioned you turned off True Tone and Night Shift. Check out the sections "Turn Dark Mode on or off" or "Adjust the screen brightness manually" in Adjust the screen brightness and color on iPad.

You might want to Restart your iPad once you have checked these settings.

Cheers!

first of all, I tried to switch between the two connecting method and take a look at the same picture, the problem is still there.

second, I tried the safe mode and connect my iPad again, the safe mode red letters is shown on my MacBook, but still no changes.

third, set up a test user and test it, still no changes.
