Logitech c920 pro webcam microphone not detected on Mac M1

The webcam works allright as video goes but the mic is not detected by the Mac mini. I don't see the camera in the audio input list of Sound Preferences System.

Mac mini, macOS 11.3

My Logitech C920 pro webcam shows up in Sound Input on macOS 11.3.1 on my M1 mini, and the Input level is continuously changing to background noises:
