So I just got an iPad Pro and all my photo off my iPod some how all got onto my iPad? I don’t know how it did it is there a way to put it all back to my ipod

Hi,
That means you activated iCloud photos.
iCloud photos lets you accessing your photos/videos on all devices connected with your Apple ID.
If you want to disable this, go to your iPod settings/your Apple ID/iCloud/iCloud photos/Download and keep original - then disable iCloud photos.
As I wrote, to avoid losing all your photos, you’ll have to select download and keep original on iCloud photos before disable iCloud photos.
