I have an iPad model A1458. My USB Power Adapter is model A1401. I ordered a USB-C to Lightning Cable bearing Model A2249 from Apple Singapore. And it does not fit.
When I placed my order, I used as basis my iPad model. What kind of remedy can you kindly suggest? If I need to buy a new USB Power Adapter, what model would fit the A2249 lightning cable?
Your iPad4 has a Lightning connector. The maximum charging rate of iPad4 is 12W; all Apple 12W Power Adapters have a USB Type-A connection. Therefore, for this arrangement, you will require a Lightning to USB Type-A cable:

Newer 20W Apple Power Adapters have a USB-C connector. So as to connect these Power Adapters with your iPad4, you will require a Lightning to USB-C charging cable:

if your charger has an usb-a connector rather than an usb-c
then you can get another cable with a usb-a connector
or use a usb-c to usb-a converter
