Camera shutter sound

I can’t disable the camera shutter sound on my iPhone even though it is on silent mood!! It is so annoying, I heard that’s because it was made in Korea. Is there any suggestions on what can I do to turn it off ? Please help

No those phones are hard coded to enforce shutter sound.

Japan and Korea feel that subjects should know that they are being photographed. Phones bound for those countries are physically set up to comply with their laws.
