F3 not working

My MacBook Air is quite new (got it this March). However, some of the keys have been failing. First, the Caps Lock failed (I took it to the iStore and there wasn't any problem, it just fixed itself, it's ok now) and now the F3 key isn't working. I want to know if it's something I did or it's a bigger problem I have to fix. Thank you!

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with your keyboard that has periodically had keys that have stopped responding.


Have you ever checked to see if the issue occurs inside a new user account? If it does, it's likely the MacBook Air keyboard will need service. Here's how to make one: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.


You can also try connecting an external keyboard to the Mac and see if the keys work there.
