I have found a solution.

Yes, very weird one, but it is.

After everything I have mentioned done, and getting no results, I have tried "stupid" thing, and as usual i happens, it solved.

Why? I do not know, maybe specialist can tell.

I have just removed both my sims from phone, shut it down, put another (3rd) real sim inside, switched on, sais YES to add this new number in my facetime list.

And the mentioned contacts got back FaceTime option in her card.

Magic.

Then I have removed the sim, put back my two previous sims in phone, and the FaceTime still available.

Magic.

I have restarted my phone, just in case, and the FaceTime still available.

Magic.

This is how Apple reminds us that in our life there are a lot of Magic .

Hi Hovelyan,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with a FaceTime contact not showing as expected. We're happy to help.

When you stated you completed the standard solutions, can you provide more details about what was done? For example, have you tried deleting the contact and re-adding? Also, is this contact using an iCloud email address for FaceTime calls? If so, are those details also saved as expected in your iPhone?

Also, are you able to initiate a FaceTime call to that contact directly from the FaceTime app? Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know the details, and we'll continue to help.

Cheers!

Hi.

As already wrote, i have tried everything, that is written in apple support to troubleshot the issue.

nothing helped. I have removed and added my wife’s contact, swithed on and off my and her facetime and imessage, log out and in appleID, icloud, whatever.

All the rest my apple devises has an option for facetime in her contact details, but not in iphone.

no restrictions, no blocked list etc.

so nothing wrong with her contact and settings.

something is went wrong with my iphone, as I used to see this option and call her directly from contact.

no I can call her only repling from recent calls, when she called me by facetime before. No other options: neither from contact, phone appa, nor directly from Facetime app

Thank you for reminding me apple support. I wish I could, but they are not available in a big number of countries.

instead, if apple knows how to solve it, they should add this in they support page. I googled a lot, and it seems the issue is well known in most of forums, including this one.

but I didn’t found any resolved case, besides resetting phone.

that’s not what you want to do every time when apple doesn’t know what to do.

thank you.
