Sorry, I have not checked any such devices on Amazon, so can’t comment on their validity. Although, as any device capable of utilizing the 2nd generation Apple Pencil has the charge capability built-in, I’m not sure why a different charging method would be required.

No, it can only be charged via the magnetic attachment on compatible iPads.
