itunes on older ipod touch crashing

I have two iPod Touch devices and two iPhones. In each case, one is significantly older but still working and used as "backup" devices or for limited purposes. As of yesterday, I couldn't access a playlist in iTunes on the older Touch, 6th generation, OS 12.5.3; when I open iTunes and try to get to the next screen to see and select the playlist, it reverts back to the home screen. I've noticed a few other help messages with a similar issue, so maybe it's not just my device. But if it is a problem with iTunes, perhaps no longer functional because the app has been replaced on newer products with Apple Music, is there another way to access this playlist? It is in Apple Music; my full music library from iTunes was migrated over to a recently purchased MacBook.

Question 2: I'd like to put this playlist on as many of the other mobile devices as I can. One of my iPhones is brand new, so there shouldn't be any compatibility issues, but I haven't used Apple Music or tried to work with playlists since buying it. The other iPod Touch also uses Apple Music, not iTunes. It runs 14.4.2 and is a 7th generation. Would I use the same steps for both? The older phone is out of storage space, which is one reason why I replaced it, so without deleting items I couldn't put the playlist on it. It is an SE running 14.4.1. That brings up another question: I migrated data from this phone to the new one. If I delete things on the older one, will they also be deleted on the new one—which I don't want to happen. The phones use iCloud backup. I don't want to "permanently" delete anything at this time, deliberately or accidentally, so I'm hesitant to move files/apps around on the old one until I understand how or if they operate completely separately.
