Hacked? My iPhone randomly flashes the front flash on its own

I was reviewing activity on my home security cameras when I noticed my iPhone flashing several times very quickly almost like it was taking pictures with the front camera and using the flash function. This occurred on several occasions throughout the night. Is someone spying on me and taking pics or is the flash caused by something else? I’ve only seen it happen while reviewing my security cameras.

Your security camera is probably picking up the light from the TrueDepth camera used for faceid. This light is not visible to the naked eye, but some digital cameras can detect it.

Don't worry about it. it's normal. Your phone is not taking pictures or spying on you.
