AirPlay, image rotation

I’m trying to Airplay a video from my iPhone to my wide screen TV, but the mirrored image is rotated by 90 degrees. How do I rotate the image? I can’t watch It sideways.

Is there a way to change the 4:3 aspect ratio of airplay mirroring on iPad? When I mirror my 11” iPad Pro to the 4k Apple TV, the image is limited to a 4:3 aspect ratio with black bars on the left and right. Yet, the 11” iPad has the same 16:9 aspect ratio as a TV. This is not really mirroring but rendering the same content on a different display and a lot of precious screen estate is wasted. Why in 2022 would one still use a 4:3aspect ratio? How come the ATV does not relay the aspect ratio back to the iPad? Is this a limitation of Airplay 2? Please add this to the fix list Apple.

Airplay shuts off when casting a video to my Smart TV I have the iphone13 with IOS 15.2.1 software. When I Airplay a video from my phone to my Smart TV, it will disconnect after a few minutes. I am not mirroring my screen but connecting via Airplay. I have my lock screen setting for 5 minutes, which is the most time allowed. Is there a way to Airplay a video or show from my phone without having to touch the phone screen every few minutes to prevent the phone disconnecting from my Smart TV. Again, I am not using the screen mirroring but the AirPlay and there does not appear to be an option to prevent the phone from locking. I understand the desire for screen lock and the associated security, but while I am streaming a show it does not make sense (if the lock screen functionality is what is causing the problem).
