I got a new Apple ID and im trying too update apps on my phone and it’s still asking for my old Apple ID password and im signed in too my new Apple ID. why is this happening?

Apple are permanently tied to the account used to purchase/download them.
if you are using a different ID, as opposed to just having changed the email account associated with an existing account, you will have to delete the app and re-purchase it using the ID you intend to use going forward.
