Indexing keeps popping up in my search bar

How can I take off this indexing thing off my iMessage

Blocking iMessage spam conversations, and deleting the conversation I can fairly easily block an unwanted spam conversation in iMessage. However, my primary question is, can I delete the icon and conversation and still keep that spammer blocked?

You cannot, you have to wait for the indexing to complete.
