I noticed that anyone can unlock my iPhone 11 while wearing a mask (using unlock with Apple Watch feature) after the 14.5 update, I don’t know if this feature still needs improvements or something or if my iPhone is the only one affected, I restarted and set up Face ID twice but still all my family can unlock it when wearing a mask, this does not happen with masks off, though.

When first agreeing to this feature Apple had a warning explaining that this is the case. This is why the notification on the Watch has a lock button.
I am not sure if it is even possible to identify someone with the lower half of their face covered but incase it is you can provide feedback here. https://www.apple.com/feedback/
