Security Update 2020-005 10.13.6

This update slows my iMac mid 2011 drastically. Two System Preferences icons appear (Not Responding) i.e. System Preferences not accessible. Reinstall 10.13.6 cures this (but hence no security update)

Try installing the 2020-006 SecUpd that P. Phillips links to while in Safe Mode...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
