How can I recover my apple Id when I got a new phone number

Hi guys, so I used to have a phone number that had my Apple ID that I use and since I had to return a phone that boost mobile ordered for us since it was not working and now I can’t even get my Apple ID since it’s locked with my phone number and also Boost said that phone number (aka my old phone number) doesn’t exist now and so I got a new one phone and right now Im just using this New Apple ID I created for right now until I recover my Original Apple ID and I just really want to recover my Apple ID

I know the Email and Password for it but for the two code thingy It only sends to my old phone number soooo

if you guys have any advice on how I can recover my Apple ID with my new phone number that would mean a lot to me and also Should I just called Apple and see if they can help me recover it???

While their online support article says for forgotten password, account recovery steps are also for a new phone number if you can’t sign in to update the number. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204921

Once you have account recovery started keep in mind it is a two phase process once started. Phase 1 is the evaluation period, usually 24-48 hours but can be longer or shorter. This phase says Apple is evaluating your info and you’ll get an update after the posted time is over (people mistakenly think it means they’ll be able to reset the password immediately after this first phase.)

Once phase 1 is done it enters phase 2 where https://iforgot.apple.com/ will give you the final amount of days (can be weeks) you’ll wait. On that final day you’ll get a text, follow that text/email immediately.
