I dont have Itunes on my Mac and i cant download it

I discovered i dont have Itunes on my Mac, while trying to restore my Ipad (as i forgot the passcode)

I have tried doing it with the finder, but it never go through

I tried downloading Itunes, but the latest version i download 12.8.3 send me a message it cant download because i have the higher more updated operating system...

Can anyone help me please?
