ipad missing emoji key

iPad Pro 11 purchased yesterday and Emoji key is missing from keyboard. Tried all things below and nothing solved my problem:

. I can see Emojis in globe key along with both other keyboards, English and Portuguese.

. I removed and reinstalled emoji and portuguese keyboards, turning iPad off and on again, also tried one at a time.

. Reset all settings.

. Restored from iCloud. Old iPad has current system and correct emoji key.

. Turn off and on Key flicks.

I have no more ideas… thank you!

Thank you, barberlives123. I listed everything you asked in my question above. I can see emoji in globe fine, I just don’t see the emoji smiley key. I’ve tried all the things I mentioned above and I don’t know whatever’s to try. I guess I’ll have to wait for a quiet weekend and start Rhiannon’s from scratch. But I’d rather use my backup, and in my previous iPad the smiley key was there. iPad is up to date as well.

Hello Monkha,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand your iPad is missing the emoji key. We're happy to assist you with this.

Did you go to Settings > General > Keyboards, to delete and add "Emoji"? If so, you'll want to open the Messages app, then with your finger, hold the globe icon for a few seconds and let go. Check to see if "Emoji" appears in the keyboard.

Next, make sure your iPad is up-to-date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Use emoji on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Best Regards.
