iWatch Series 6 Calling Emergency After Being Wet Glitch

I have a 6 series iWatch and have owned ALL prior iWatches since they were made. This is by far the most bizarre glitch I have ever encountered! Out of nowhere, was not having any previous issues with the watch, I am sitting in the water on the steps of my pool and I am splashed by my small child. Just splashed! The watch starts it countdown to call emergency services. It won’t let me turn it off, but instead starts violently glitching from the emergency services warning to other apps and then back again. I even have a video of this. I tried to immediately do a hard reset, which didn’t work at all, it went right back to doing it! Then I went and reset ALL settings, and set up as new, that didn’t work either. Yes, I have contacted Apple support and I have a replacement coming. But this is weird! Has anyone else ever encountered this before!? What is triggering this glitch!? I have it synced with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and both the phone and watch are always up to date on software.

That is really bizarre! I have only had issues with this series as well (series 6). I don’t normally get it wet, but that was shocking. It would not stop trying to call ER services and that is NOT good. 😳 That’s a huge glitch/malfunction and I sure hope Apple gets their act together and fixes that. Sounds like a new one won’t really fix the issues. So weird! My last 5 series never did that in the water, I could swim with it and everything.
