I got a text message from no sender. But it accessed some of my contacts and sent this music video to us. My phone number has been breached or somehow found on the dark web. How do I fix this? Apparently it’s because I downloaded the WhatsApp.

Hello SagiCap,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you received a text message from an unknown sender and have concerns about your phone number after using a third-party app. We’d like to help.

Did you receive this text message through the WhatsApp app? Or as a text message in the Messages app on your iPhone?

You can Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch following the steps in that resource.

We would also recommend reaching out to and reporting this to the app developer, WhatsApp.

Take care.
