Battery Issue

My 2017 13" Macbook Pro shuts off without warning and has been serving me a message that my battery needs service. When I checked the cycle count, it is only 343 of the 1000 cycles that model should have before retiring the battery. What could be causing this? I do not even get a message telling me I should plug in my adapter when the battery is running low. The machine just shuts off. Ideas?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Sounds like an issue with the battery—

See if you qualify:

Thank you. Unfortunately, my serial number is not eligible for that program. Yes, I agree it's an issue with the battery but wanted to note that the cycle count is only 1/3 of the battery life with at 343 of the 1000. Any other ideas on things that may help?

1000 cycle count is the expected, not guaranteed . Batteries can fail at anytime.
