Battery Life on Macbook Pro

Hello,

I've seen that others have asked this question but I haven't seen solid response yet.

I bought my new Macbook Pro in 2020. 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

One of the selling points for these new Macbooks is the incredible battery life. "And up to 20 hours of battery life — the longest of any Mac ever." I'd be happy to get half of that. Mine lasts about 3 hours browsing with chrome. I use it to keep my quickbooks for my business, schedule meetings on calendar, emails, time tracking, nothing super difficult. Sometimes I'll stream a 20 - 40 minute show on Hulu and that'll pretty much do my battery in. I took it in and apple replaced the battery for me saying it should last longer. Changing the battery did not make any difference. Are others having this problem?

My old Macbook Pro from 2011, had way better battery life. Is there something simple that I just need to adjust? Is this 2020 mac battery just inferior?

Typically, my laptop is plugged in and this isn't an issue. I just feel a little cheated out of some battery life.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1
