HomePod Fix - Wi-Fi Incompatible

Homepod wifi incompatible ... new HomePod, current iPad (fully patched) !!!

Same Title as another thread that was was locked by this communist forum software without providing a solution.

Disabling auto join and auto login does not fix the issue.

Anybody found an alternative solution?

BTW.

Dear 'Specialist' do not provide any links to the Apple site ... that is marketing ... been there before here ... Now I know what should happen ... I am looking for when it does not ... something the Apple site is notorious for not admitting to!

Is your Wi-Fi set up with WPA/WPA2 and with any client isolation feature turned off? See If you can’t set up HomePod - Apple Support. Note that:

  • HomePod doesn't support public or subscription networks with sign-in requirements. These networks are often in places such as businesses, schools, dorms, apartments, hotels and shops.

It also seems that HomePod may not be compatible with mesh networks.

FYI the forum software automatically locks threads that have been inactive for something like 45 days.
