Battery drain on iOS 14.6
my battery life on iOS 14.6 is terrible… is it just me or anyone is experiencing this thing too??

very bad battery backup after the upgrade, heating issues also.
I know they also deleted my posts amd comments iphone is a bad decision i ever made

Yes, updated last night on my SE (2nd Gen) only a year old and it seems like the Podcast app is doing most of the draining, it is the app I most use (a lot in the background)

I wish could go back to my last update. This IOS 14.6 is not working for me because I have to charge my battery every two hours. Do better Apple.
No. I’m having the same problem along with Internet connection and a very hot phone.

Did this end up working for you? I have notice huge drain because of the podcasts app. Took 25% off of the battery on my iPad in 45 minutes.

Does the heat destroy your battery?
Yes. Have lost 5% off of battery health since updating.
I switched to another podcast app and deleted the Apple podcast app and it seems to have worked to stop the drain. It’s a pain but worth it.
I was thinking that too but for stuff like sharing and rating podcasts, or just seems easier to keep this. Just wish it worked like it was supposed to
