Touch Bar Flicker

I can't seem to stop my Touch Bar from flickering and eventually shutting off completely<

any help with this would be greatly received

System Preferences > Keyboard > Touch Bar shows > App Controls

Reset SMC.https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 Choose the appropriate method.
