The Default, Transit and Satellite Views do not show on the Map app that comes with macOS Big Sur 11.4.
The different views do not show on a Macbook Air M1, but they do show on an Intel iMac 27" with the same update 11.4. Is there a fix for this problem?
After I booted into Safe Mode. The options for Default, Transit and Satellite views on the Map in Apple Maps were working.
That fixed the problem, Apple Maps is now working. Thanks for your help.

How to turn your Mac on or off - Apple Support -- Restart your Mac and see if those views are available once your Mac is back to the Desktop.
How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support -- If you’re still not seeing those views, restart your Mac in safe mode and see if the views are available there. Restarting in safe mode will take a bit longer than a normal startup. The first paragraph in this article explains why.
