iPhone alarm while on a call

I often take calls on my iPhone using headphones. I find it annoying when the call is interrupted by my alarms (which I still need to be aware of... perhaps by banner?) so that I cannot hear what the other person is saying. They are not aware of my alarm ringing, so they don’t know to pause and wait until I can hear them again.

is there a way to tell my phone to mute/silence/vibrate alarms while I am on a call?
