apple watch problem

I updated my Apple Watch several months ago, it won't power on. When it's on the charger, the apple logo flashes, if I try to do a hard reset, a red exclamation mark pops up and gives a web site address apple.com/watch/help. I'm thinking the update did this. I tried to go on the apple watch app and accidentally unpaired the watch with my phone, so none of those tricks will work :( . It's a Series 1, will Apple still support it if I take it to an Apple Store? Im completely willing to lose everything on it, I just want a working watch lol

When you see this;

It's usually caused by a corrupted update file and is usually terminal.If you were to repair it it would probably cost nearly as much as a new watch so something to think about.

Here is a link that tells you to force restart the watch and if that doesn't work then send it by mail for a repair;
