how to unblock camera and microphone

Welcome to the Apple Community where some of us do our best to help each other.

You might want to click on the small black Apple icon on the left in the top Menu bar.

Then choose "System Preferences from the menu that opens.

In the window that opens, click on "Security and Privacy".

Then click "Privacy" from the Menu across the top of the small window.

Now, in the menu list on the left you can click on "Camera" and "Microphone"

where you can click in the checkboxes to allow access for the apps you want.
