Facemask unlocking with watch not working

Hi,

I've updated both my phone and watch to the latest OS and immediately after doing this my phone unlocked via my watch when I was wearing a facemask, but it only did it this one time and now will not do it.

Any ideas why or what I can do to fix?

Getting sick of typing in my passcode every 30 seconds!

Is your iPhone and Apple Watch both with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. (You don't need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network.)
Is your Apple Watch passcode, and wrist detection turned on?
Have you restarted both?
