Ios latest update 13.-something

Hello, i just bought a new printer Hp Office jet pro 9015e, it requires me to download app during setup (which i did) but then it states unable to complete setup for it requires the latest update

13. -(something) and my iphone (6) dont give me the option of the update.

Help please!

An iPhone 6 can't run 13 or above. If you don't have a newer model and HP doesn't have a solution, check the store's return policy.

You can’t install the app then.

Your iPhone is to old to be updated.
