Install Gotomeeting app without requiring administrator permission

I have just installed the Gotomeeting app on my MacBook Air running High Sierra. I was not asked for administrator permission for the installation to proceed. How can that be?

Does the app become part of Chrome, my browser? I thought nothing could be installed without administrator permission. It has got me puzzled.

Wow Robin, a bit bizarre if you ask me, but here's what it sats on Windows®...

The GoToMeeting desktop app does not require admin rights in order to be installed, so you should be able to easily download and install it on your own computer.
