Battery is not charging after version 11.4

Hey guys, I am using MacBook Pro 15 inch (2017) and I got my Mac in year 2018. I recently updated my Mac OS to 11.4 ever since my Mac battery is not chargeable and I do aware that most 2017 Mac are calls back for Battery Recall Program but I tried to search my Mac serial number and it shows mine is not entitle for such program. Try to reached up to apple support and I was told to buy a battery replacement.

do you guys encounter this before and how you guys actually handle this?

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the battery issue.

If it doesn't help, try to check your MacBook Pro, especially battery related hardware with Apple Diagnostics if it reports battery related error(PPT001 to PPT007).
