speak selection is choppy
I frequently use the speak selection accessibility option when working on homework as it allows me to process my reading assignments more efficiently. The problem is that ever since I switched to a new M1 MBP, the audio is choppy at the beginning of every paragraph or if I pause and unpause at any point. It makes it very difficult to use.
This happens in every app I've tried that allows for the screen reader to work. It also doesn't matter how much I select (1 sentence to a whole web page). I've even tried copying and pasting into other apps like notes or text edit.
Any suggestions?
