New Mini M1 Screen Flicker

I have just got my new Mac Mini M1 but the excitement has been overshadowed by a strange flicker that intermittently occurs on the screen, I am using a Benq 2870U 28 Inch 4K screen connected Via HDMI.

The problem is like the brightness of the screen is ‘wobbling’ there does not appear to be any obvious trigger it just occurs – regardless of what I am doing.

I have updated to latest MacOS 11.4 but this has not helped. I have also tried other cables again no help. The monitor works fine when connected do a Dell PC, no problems at all.

The display setting is set to default for display but I am unsure if this is driving the screen at the 4K resolution?

A diagnostic report returns no issues.

Apple support have been of no help yet.

Does anyone have any similar issues and may be resolution?
