Controlling Sound Bar and Television Set

I have the new Apple TV 4K (2021). The Apple TV is connected to my Television ( TCL 28S305) though a HDIMI cable. I use a Vizio sound bar (SB 2020 C-6) for the sound via Blue Tooth. The Apple TV remote will control my sound bar volume. When I want to turn all three off, I just press and hold the power button of the Apple TV remote down for a few seconds. And it will shut everything down just fine. But it will not turn the Television or sound bar back on. Is this normal or missing something, not have a setting correct?

As you see that the Apple TV Remote is working to control the volume and power off your TV, we understand that you have it set up correctly to control the TV and sound bar, but we'd recommend checking out the following resource to see if this helps to power on the TV.

Thank you for your reply, but it didn't solve my problem. Although it was helpful in that it gave me more ideas, more resources to find answers. :) I would think it would be the same signal to turn the units off as it would be to turn them on. But I am NOT a tech guru by any means. I know just enough to be dangerous. ;) lol
