M1 MacBook Air Battery

I recently updated the software to BigSur 11.4 on my M1 Air, and after 29 charge cycles after one month of daily use, battery health is down 98%. Is that normal?

There is no need to contact Apple support at this point. You said you've had it for one month - it is perfectly normal for the battery health to show a minor reduction. You do not have to be concerned unless it drops down to 80% or less - at that point, do contact Apple.

Contact Apple Support:

Apple Silicon MacBooks with Apple Silicon show that percentage. Another way for Apple to get you to upgrade. As for it instantaneously dropping, it's a bit suspicious. So, I recommend asking Apple, just to be certain it is not a faulty device. Report back what they say, as it would help many for certain.

Apple Contact Info:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
