The above option is not working with me I am getting the spinning wheel and then if I try to activate it and come back to check if it is activated it I found out it is not, I checked with my service carrier and it is all good from their side, could please let me know what it is wrong with this option?

If we understand your post correctly, Call Forwarding is not working on your phone and all you're getting is the spinning wheel when you try to set it up. We're happy to provide some information.
Have you tried restarting your phone since this started happening?

If you're still having an issue with Call Forwarding, we recommend contacting your service provider for Call forwarding is a cellular carrier feature. It is handled by the carriers equipment.
