Hello ttkhuyen,

We understand you are experiencing battery life concerns after updating to iOS version 14.6.

Since downgrading to a previous iOS version isn't supported, we'd recommend reviewing each section in iPhone Battery and Performance.

If the Battery Health screen indicates that your battery's maximum capacity is at or above 80%, and that your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance, we'd recommend Maximizing Battery Life and Lifespan by reviewing your battery usage by app. Once you've determined how each app contributes to the battery life you're experiencing after updating, you can apply applicable tips from the link above to maximize battery life and lifespan.

We also recommend using your iPhone as you normally would for at least 48-hours after an update, restore, or after making changes to optimize your settings to see if you notice a difference. Since there are app updates and files indexing after an update or restore, monitoring the battery life after at least 48-hours will help us determine if this decrease is temporary. It can also help determine if any tips on how to maximize battery life and lifespan improve the overall battery life and performance of your iPhone.

If the Battery Health screen indicates that your battery's maximum capacity is below 80%, or that it isn't supporting normal peak performance, please review the iPhone Battery & Power Repair process specific to the country or region where you're located.

Cheers!

ttkhuyen,

The best solution is to keep the software up to date on your iPhone. We'd also recommend using the tips from the link we've provided on how to maximize battery life and lifespan.

We understand you've only noticed a change after updating to iOS version 14.6. One of the awesome features introduced in iOS 11.3 allows you to review your battery usage, as well as the overall health of your battery. Please see the "Battery Health" section in the link we've provided on iPhone Battery and Performance for additional details.

If it has been more than 48-hours since you've updated, we'd recommend checking your Settings > Battery > Battery Health to confirm that the maximum capacity is above 80%, and that it is supporting normal peak performance.

You can also go to Settings > Battery to see how each app is contributing to the battery life you're experiencing. Since the mix of things you do on your iPhone affect battery life, you can determine if apps are using Location Services and Background Activity. If disabling these help with your overall battery life and performance, this tell us it's how the apps were using your battery.

Please feel free to Contact Apple Support for any additional questions on how to improve battery life and lifespan.

Thanks!
