“…The battery level is dropping 4-5%/hr…”
So 60% in 12 hours. Normal if you are using it. If it used that amount when totally idle then perform this test

Actually you have 2 little problems.
Usually replacement battery for iPhone 6s are around 40$ i think, no sure about it.
Same here. Raplaced battery about 4-5 months ago. Health is at 93%. Before the update, it was at 98%. Phone slows down when beattery is around 45-50%, then shuts down. Does not open without charger. Upon opening it shows 10%. In a short time it charges back 50% again.
i had the same problem with my iPhone 6s after installing ios 14.6. Apple support recommended a forced reboot (holding down both, the home + power buttons, different for other iphones) until the apple logo shows up. This really fixed the draining problem. What I noticed after the reboot, the phone did not ask for the SIM card’s pin code. It did not forget it.
I think this explains the problem, because my iphone 7, which does not have a SIM, did work just fine after the ios 14.6 installation.
So, if your phone has a SIM card, try a forced reboot.
Correct - iphones do not ask for SIM code after a forced restart because the card never loses power.
After a normal power off and then on it will ask for the SIM code.
Whatever it was, the problem was released by the forced restart.
My 6S goes really well on ios14.6 and works completely normally.
“…Same here. Raplaced battery about 4-5 months ago. Health is at 93%….”
at 5 months old that is not abnormal
“…Phone slows down when beattery is around 45-50%, then shuts down…”
