Mac book pro won’t turn on

MacBook Pro is connected to charger but won’t turn on.

ive checked cables and all ok

I’ve changed charging ports

power adapter is warm so I’m sure that power is live to MacBook

However if I plug iPhone into USBC port there’s no charge to the phone.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
