Mac mini M1 (2020) Wifi stops working on plugging in external usb hubs

Whenever I plug in any sort of USB-A or USB-C external hub the wifi on my Mac Mini M1 stops working no matter what type or manufacture it's from, I've tried many including the ones apple verified and yet all have the same outcome.

I've seen this issue reported by many but there is still no fix for this??

Such making our machines useless as they are unless we do everything through google drive.

Mac mini, macOS 11.2

First I would,

  1. Try using a thicker better shielded USB cable to the Hub and/or your other devices.
  2. Try rearranging your setup so that the cables and devices are not located near or in between the Mac and Router.

Then if that does not help,

  1. Try moving the Mac and Router closer together.
  2. Getting and using a Wi-Fi Range Extender in between the Router and Mac.
  3. Upgrading your current Wi-Fi Router and/or consider getting a new Mesh type Router system.

Hi,

I've been rearranging my setup, trying multiple USB hubs both powered and non-powered, all with different wire thicknesses, and it's all the same.

The wifi router is perfectly fine as about every other device connected to it works flawlessly, I also use extenders throughout my house and nothing wrong with them and I've switched up positions with almost all, bottom line nothing wrong with the router.

as my issue like mentioned above only happens to the Mac Mini M1 (2020) and only when I plug a USB dock into it
