Curious if when I download a file for offline use on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, is it the Apple “lossless” file? Is there a setting where I can choose what quality I download to my phone similar to Tidal?

According to that article "Lossless is not yet available but is coming soon." However it also says "You can listen to lossless on an iPhone or iPad updated to iOS or iPadOS 14.6 ...". Go figure.
