How do I access my mac from a remote location?

I am running Big Sur. I am going on a trip soon and will need to access my Mac back home while I'm away. I have remote login selected in Preferences. This used to be possible through iCloud (Back to My Mac), but this is no longer the case. Please let me know how I can do this now. Many thanks!

Remote login MacBook Pro to iMac - both computers use Catalina I would like to remotely login from my MacBook Pro to my iMac at home - easy method or best method appreciated. thanks in advance for any help Jim
