Play Count/Last Played Date Not Updating in Music app

Just wondering if any one else is experiencing this. Since installing Big Sur 11.4 (MacBook Pro, 2018) the Music app has not been functioning as I would expect - the lasted played date and the play count are not always update and songs are being skipped during play back. Being a little (probably a lot) OCD, this is doing my head in.

Music app not updating last played I finally upgraded to Big Sur from Mojave a couple of months ago. Ever since then, the Music app only sporadically updates last played and play count information for tracks that I have played. This is really annoying, as most of the playlists that I listen to regularly are based at least in part on songs that I haven't heard in a while. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Apple Music in Mac mini stops playing after each song. Apple Music stops after each song on Mac mini. All songs have been downloaded, this happens from every playlist. No solution has worked. Running Big Sur 11.2.3

"View on Apple Music" broken after Big Sur 11.3/11.3.1 update The feature "View on Apple Music" only works the first time you use it. After that, you need to restart the app in order for it to work as expected. This was not an issue before Big Sur 11.3/11.3.1 update. Steps to reproduce: Choose an artist in your library (Library - Artists - <choose an artist>) Click "View on Apple Music" on the right-top corner Apple Music artist page loads as expected Choose a different artist in your library (Library - Artists - <choose an artist>) Click "View on Apple Music" on the right-top corner Apple Music artist page does not refresh, still showing the previous artist
